What is a co-pay?
Copays are the amount due (out of pocket expenses) dictated by your plan coverage and insurance.
How do I know if you accept my insurance plan or if I'm eligible?
We are in-network with most vision insurance plans. Be sure to check out our insurance page to see what we accept. We can determine your benefit/plan information using one of the following methods:

1. Personal information
2. Primary member first and last name
3. Primary member date of birth
4. Primary SSN last 4 digits
5. Member ID

What is the warranty of my eyeglass lenses?
We warrant every pair of glasses to be made to the prescription provided and free from defects in material and workmanship. All of our lenses comply with the regulations of the American National Standards Institute for ophthalmic prescription lenses. If the lens is defective, please return the glasses within 30 days.
Standard Anti-Reflective Coating / Scratch Coat Warranty
If a standard anti-reflective coating has been applied on a multifocals, lenses are warranted to resist scratches under normal wearing conditions for (1) one year, one time only at a 50% replacement cost. Replacement lenses must be an identical replacement to the original order. Lenses are only covered for scratches due to normal wear.

If a standard anti-reflective coating has been applied on single vision lenses, a replacement fee of $35.00 will be applied.

The return of the original lenses are required.
Crizal Anti-Reflection Warranty
Crizal coating lenses are warranted for manufacturer defects and scratches under normal use for two years from the date of the original order. Replacement lenses must be the same RX, material, lens style, and frame as the original order. The replacement cost is $35.00. The return of the original lenses are required.
Progressive Non-Adapt Warranty
Our Non-Adapt warranty allows for a one-time replacement within 60 days of the original order. No credits will be issued for the price of the less expensive lenses on the reorder.

Live Life Optical, at its own discretion, reserves the right to deny replacement warranty to those who abuse these policies.

  • We are a full service glasses store. We sell eyewear that can be either corrective with prescription, protective, or just fashionable.
  • Walk-in’s with an up-to-date prescription or who are simply shopping for fashionable eyewear are always welcome!
How much does an eye exam cost?
Eye exams are available through an independent eye doctor’s office located next door to Live Life Optical. Please contact PQ Eyecare at (562)402-1900 for more details. Most vision insurance plans accepted.

Can I place lenses in my own frame that I did not purchase from Live Life Optical?
Yes. We accept patient’s own frame that were not purchased from LIve Life Optical. We will ask you to sign a frame waiver - Live Life Optical is not responsible for damaging of patient’s own frame.
How long will it take for my glasses to arrive?
With our finishing machine on-site, single vision prescription eyeglasses will be ready in less than 1 hour on the same day. (Single vision distance, computer, or near). Bifocals, progressives, and most other lenses with treatment or coating will be ready within 7-10 business days. If you need the eyeglasses faster, you can expedite your order for a fee of $10.00.
